that the fluid to use is non-detergent 10 mineral oil. I just fixed my non-working top (turned out to be a bad brush in the motor, not a serious problem but one that took pulling various top control pieces out). Anyway, suck as much of the fluid out of the reservoir (I used my wife's turkey baster - Christmas turkey tasted OK though!) and fill to the appropriate line on the reservoir - bottom line if the top is up or top line if top is down (instructions in Saab's factory manual, which says fill to filler hole, were revised by bulletin 06/93 345(which also addresses the type of oil to use) if I knew how to attach a .gif I would!
