1989 900base-n/a w/115,000 miles....

Here's the deal....I cleaned out the throttle body, AIC, and cleaned up the ground contact below right side of radiator the other day and now I have this annoying HIGH IDLE. When left out in cold(work 3rd shift in Indiana) over night the car starts right up but idles at 2,000RPM. When warm car will idle dead-on(no wavering) at 1000-1100 RPM.

New parts include: FPR, NTC sensor, ECU, Silicon hoses, cap-rotor, Plugs& Wires, rubber vaccum grommets, thermostat, themo-sensor switch, new exhaust cat. back, new ball joints(a recent victory of mine concerning this car...but that's another long-ass story!) and God knows what else...I think Jimbo at Sobstory is going to retire early.....on me!

<sigh>....I am beginning to believe that the more new parts I put on this car the worse things get!

I have read on here that HIGH ILDES are caused by vaccum leaks. Well, prior to my cleaning of the throttle body and AIC my idle was just fine other than the high idle when cold. Now it idles HIGH constantly. What the hell can I do now.....obviously I lack the diagnostic abilities and am prone to just buying new parts to fix problems but I am finding out that this can be a very expensive proposition with a Saab.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

P.s. and to think....just 10 months ago I used to drive a 2001 VW Golf-Turbo Diesel that I sold in order to get out from under payments!!!!!!
