Help. I have a donor distributor (about '85 900 non-turbo) that is going to donate its plastic 3 conductor plug connector to my '86 900T. Presently I'm trying to disassemble the donor distributor. Have removed rotor, two circlips from top, and the drive pin from the bottom. The Hall effect rotor is still on the shaft. In trying to lift that "can" with the 4 open ports for the Hall-stuff, it only lifts less than one-quarter inch. Seems like something is holding it down. Have pounded distributor shaft one way or the other and still the Hall-can is stuck. I've take LOTS of things apart in my life and I don't see what is holding this.
Any clues? Thanks.

PS. Same question may apply to the somewhat different '86 900T distributor, but I haven't dug into that YET.
