wire get out your multimeter and check for continuity via the plug on the seat's bottom. If there is no continuity, unplug the seat to seat back connector and jumper the seat end - check for continuity - if none there is another break in the seat wire, if continuity check the seat back and you should find no continuity which will require lifting of the seat back's cover and finding the break. I used a spray adhesive to bond the foam sandwich back over the repaired wires - make sure the wires are in their proper place before pressing the foam together - you won't get it apart again! BTW if you slide some heatshrink over the wire before you solder the ends together it makes a neater and more flexible insulation than tape.
