It fing pours. This morning, on my way to my parents, the mid pipe between cat and muffler finally rusted out and now I sound like a cessna. Great. What's really bugging me though is this cold start idle surge problem. My 87 900s stalls, or comes reeeal close on the down swing of the surge. I'd replace the amm, but the it is reading .380 ohm and the oxs swings between .48 and .62 when warmed up (as of yesterday). When I unplug the Amm, the surging goes away... Its definitely the Amm, right? Also, my tranny keeps getting whinier in 4th and 5th, pretty noticeable now. Essentially, can I drive it till it goes, or will that compound the difficulty of the fix (not counting tow etc.)?
