fibre-glas pencil (see an auto parts dealer for one, it has glass fibers and really gets into the hole) if your little 'holes' are too small for that use a needle to pick at any loose stuff. Then, wipe the area with a degreaser to ensure there is nothing is left in the hole(wax, fingerprints, bugs, etc.). Get a very fine brush from an artists shop, they have them for oil paints which should be OK for your paint. Using a spurt from the spray can onto a suitable surface (yogurt lids work!) is fine but make sure you shake the can it beyond the recommended time and move quickly as there are more dispersants in an aerosol so the paint will dry faster than the paint from one of those DupliColour tubes (the areosol paint is also tninner for the same reason so you can build up the hole to the level of the other paint). Good luck.
