The saga continues....
Long story short, I've replaced the inner driver, inner CV and outer CV, have new ball joints on the passenger side. Hard turns and I'm getting the KA-thump sound from over there still. I also need to replace the shocks and/or bushings over there but, having read up on wheel bearings from this board, it seems that may be the problem.
I hauled out the Bentley's last night after the test drive on the new outer CV to check on the feasibility of replacing it myself. To paraphrase Bentley: "Don't try this at home without the special tools or you'll regret it, punk".
So, I'm looking for second and third opinions on home replacement, cost of garage replacement, prognoses without attatched audio files...anything to get my baby feeling better.
As always, thanks for your advise
