My daughter's '87 French car had a bad sound in the rear disc brake so we took a look and found the inner brake pad down to the steel, all the pad was gone. But only the inner, next to the caliper. The pad on the opposite side was good. We need to fix the problem not just the pad and are wondering just what may be the cause of such a failure? Any ideas on this problem greatly appreciated. Thanks
