What you named is about all the electronics there is to it. Fuel pump or relay are the usual suspects. See if you can get another relay for exchange or test your fuel pump. You should hear it buzzing in the back of the car if you turn the ignition on without starting. Eight valves may be hard starters, sometimes due to worn/dirty injectors (mine, for example). The trick I currently use is to crank for some ten seconds with the pedal to the floor, wait a few seconds, then crank for a split second. It usually fires right up then.
