If your using "Bondo" to replace where metal once was on your car, the answers NO. It is designed to be used in thin amounts to achieve a final fill on body work. Work the contour of the damaged panel close to original shape, then Bondo is used for the light final fill, to complete the job when time of metal fileing is not available. I knew of a guy who had done a bedside on his truck after hitting a tree with Bondo and he used a ball peen hammer to knock out some of the damage and then used the "Knock er low, Fill'er and Go!" technique and after about a 2 weeks or so he brought in his entire bedside into work in his arms! The slab weighed a good 10-20lbs!! I live in the south and dont get aquinted with rusted out panels unless its a Vega or something, so I dont know if your rust problem is only on the door skins or the door shell itself. Its best to weld a patch panel in and then grind it down smooth and then fill. Well anywho, Good luck!!!!!
