Are your injectors larger? I thought the AMM mod on LH2.2 was only necessary on big injectors.
Make sure your wastegate is set to proper base boost.
Could do a rising rate fpr or upgrade ignition timing (BTM or AID). Trent's rising rate is pretty cheap but I've had some problems with it. I had Georges Imports (see Brad on perf bb) modify my distributor vacuum advance. Similar results for 1/8 the price of the SPG9 AID. Cheap but somewhat risky mod is to install a smaller valve in the APC solenoid port via WASSAAB's posts and site on the perf bb. Risky cuz if the car senses knock, the boost bleed off is restricted/reduced.
good luck

'90 SPG - 24#inj. Trent rrfpr, red box resistor mod APC, Viggen bpv, K&N, Magnacore wires, MSD high vib coil, mod. vac advance....rolling restoration. Hi-flow cat/exhaust next on my list...maybe an IC fan.
