make everything so much easier. Something about the "impact" part of it... Even at a low torque setting (~150 ft lbs) it cleanly loosens bolts where a static 250 ft lbs (breaker bar, cheater bar, me standing on bar) will only twist the head off. Seriously, dont get a cheapo impact wrench. I learned that lesson many times over; the added cost will be recovered the first time you loosen a bolt that your $29.00 one just wont budge, no matter how cool it sounds trying. Get a decent Ingersoll/Rand with at least 400 lb ft and the ability to scale it back. If you wanna go cheapo, get a cheap air hammer, air sawzall and angle grinder. Makes exhaust work almost do itself. Check harborsalvage.com, the majority of my stuff, good and cheapo came from there...
