Hard Starting/ Intermittent rough idle

Ok, so we've spent three grand on my wife's 92 900s in the past few months for a new gas tank, replacement master cylinder (used at $750, nice...), and a host of other things. Now, we get the thing home and it now takes much longer to start in the morning and idles poorly most of the time.
When we start it cold, the car runs really roughly for a few seconds then smoothes out. The rough idling isn't always there. The car will drive for a while, idling fine, and then we'll pull to a light and it's down to 500 rpm and the steering wheel is vibrating. The idle speed doesn't change when I put the car in neutral, so I don't think it's a bad torque converter (automatic tranny) or anything else transmission related, and the car seems to drive fine otherwise (I would complain about lack of power, but it's a normally aspirated automatic, so that is a normal condition...). The A/C also has decided to stop working, though it will usually blow cold just long enough for me to think it's working before crapping out entirely. I plan on going under the hood (behind it?) this weekend, but I was wondering if there were places I should start to look first...
Thanks in advance.
