My first experience with a 900T was in 1993 when my friend's (a woman) cousin leased a yellow convertible 900 T for his transportation needs during business trips to Los Angeles. He parked it at my friend's mother's home in Griffith Park. It was her "job" to drive it around from time to time to keep the juices flowing and the tires from flattening. We often went on drives together, with her always behind the wheel. I never minded that arrangement because she was not only an excellent manual shift driver, but very aggressive behind the wheel. Her "schooling" was owning a BMW in her college years and driving serpentine-like Sunset Blvd to and from school. The odd thing with her is that while her car skills are so advanced, she's the worst bicyclist ever. So bad she nearly died from an accident while on a bike 75 yards from her home.
