Just a little Saab humor with which we can all relate to in an effort to lighten the "repair continuum"......
I went to Sears to pickup my wife's new treadmill(she's on this exercise kick don't ask!) and as I pulled up to the pickup area I saw the attendant assisting another customer in the car next to me. After assisting the other customer he followed me inside. I gave him my receipt and he scanned it on the computer. He then asked, somewhat surprisingly, "...the treadmill?" I responded, "Yes" He then retorted, with disbelief, "in that Saab?" I said, with confidence, "It's a Swedish Stationwagon, Dog!" He shrugged his shoulders and wheeled the big box out towards the car. I opened it up and showed him the cavernous cargo area and he still wasn't convinced. After I helped him shove the box all the way in and shut the hatch the brutha was dumbfounded and began to walk away shaking his head......as I exclaimed once again, "It's a Swedish Stationwagon, Dog!"
Either the fine disbelieving young man was truly astounded at the Saab's ability to handle rather large pieces of cargo OR, he was just plain at a loss of words at this honky's lame attempt at the hip-hop vernacular.......
Either way.....he learned one valuable lesson. He won't underestimate the versatility of a Saab again!
