Yes, Thanks to the superb recommendations from these Bulletin Boards, I tackled repainting of the Bumpers and SPG Panels, myself (Dave New helped me remove the Panels and Bumpers for painting). Preparation is definitely the key to a good paint job and the SEM brand paint was the perfect paint for the job. Fill, sand and prime all nicks and gouges to a perfectly smooth finish before painting (i.e. down to 800 grit wet paper). I did the Prep work over the course of a few weekends with the panels on the car, then took the panels off on a Friday night to give myself all weekend to finish the painting and reinstallation. I could kick myself for getting a little too lazy and impatient on a couple of spots. I'll have some rework to do next Spring. Thanks for your kind words. Someday I'm sure I'll be drooling over a prized aquisition and project of yours.
For tips on painting, do a search on SEM Pait on this and the performance BB.
