My car had that same issue at 100K. Switched from standard 10-30 to REDLINE MTL and it greatly improved shifting. At 200K (where I hit a deer and totaled the car) it was still shifting great. I changed it about every 10-15K miles. Also, if you can't find REDLINE, go to your Honda dealer and pick up Honda MTL. This in my opinion, works equally well to REDLINE at half the cost. All I can say is I used it for 30K miles in my car and couldn't tell the difference between it and REDLINE.

Good luck, I live in MN too, I know how the cold affects cars.
