place the light on a table lamp with a wide enough lampshade to hold it, point the hole for the bulb upward so the heat from the lightbulb below evaporates the moisture out of the light. Your wife/girlfriend or both will go nuts over it but tell her they are $160 a piece. A 60 watt bulb underneath should provide enough heat to dry it out during an episode or two of The Man Show. (Remember to turn on the lamp; if you watch The Man Show regularly you may just need the reminder.)
I just did this the other day to pass NYS inspection; the lens glass has a stone chip and moisture gets in when it rains. I didn't want the inspection station running over to SAAB when they saw the condensation and want to fail it for a broken lens.
There was a post a while back about sanding the front glass to remove sand pitting that diffuses the light. Not sure I'm that industrious or brave; anyone know if that works?
