I've got a pair of very nice Mcintosh amps on the way, nothing high power, just all sound quality. Unfortunately, they like Zapco amps, like DC power. The previous owner of the amps i'm getting said that each amp has a 60+ amp draw when pushed. Zapco was another choice i was looking at but they're even worse for power consumption. I might just go with one, and do the 9000 alternator switch, since this seems like it will be more feasable on a stock setup. I don't really want to look at aftermarket alternators if i can avoid it.

What is the typical power draw for a running car with headlights on, using some electrical accessories (interior lights, power windows etc?
