basically damp/wet problems are usually associated with the high voltage side of your ingition system.. damp plug leads or condensation on the inside or outside of your distributor cap.. but if the only thing thats happening is stalling at lights when not fully warmed up your problem could just be a too low an idle speed in general.. it very difficult getting an engine to idle at exactly the right speed over its entire warm up range.. most cars err on the over-fast side durng warm up cos a fast idle is a better option than a car that keeps stalling..
with my 8 valve auto box saab i have a slightly faster than ideal idle at fully warmed up to avoid the odd stall during the inititial stages of warm up.. u could try adding a few rpm by adjusting the throttle stop screw a little..
with an auto box.. the idle speed is more critical than a manual box.. stalling engines when cold is also more of a pain.. but in general there is something like a 200 rpm difference between half warmed up and fully warmed up with my car.. when fully cold the idle is about the same as when fully warmed up.. but things slow down a bit when the auxilary air valve starts to close and the engine isnt fully warmed up..
