Just chenged mine on my 85 about a month ago. On the 2.0 liter there were two 48 mm and one 28 mm behind the exhaust manifold. Knock them out with a screw driver and hammer by hitting the internal inside edge of the plug. Avoid hitting or damaging the block sealing surface completely. The plug should turn and move slightly into the water jacket. Grab the edge of the plug with pliers and pull it out. Idealy you want the new plugs to go in straight. Generally people use an old socket into the center of the new plug and then hit the socket with a hammer. If you have clearance problems you can try to fashion something shallower. I used a little none harding gasket seal compound around the plug as an option.
