Hi.
I had the exact same problem with my 92 900 SE 16v. I finally discovered that there were leaves in the air conditioning intake, which was full of water which was being picked up by the air and depositing on the carpet under the seats.

The Air Con intake has a rubber outlet tube for rain water. and the flow through this should be clear - I used a length of plastic covered wire and within about 1 minute I had the problem solved.

I hope you have the same issue.
