I am speaking of the right angle bend thingy that prevents sprayer fluid from siphoning back into the reservoir.

We all know the internal rubber gaskets decay and plug the system with time. Sure you can remove and reconnect, but that lacks sophistication. What we need is a fix, and I came up with an almost free one.

The units need a very thin and very strong blade to pop open. A non-serated steak knife will do.

Carefully pry the 2 halves apart, MAKING SURE that you do so slowly, as they have a tendency to fly apart and send the guts flying into oblivion.

Inside, you will find a really worn and decayed rubber disk, a spring and a plastic button that fits over the spring.

Clean out the dead rubber with a tooth pick.

Place the spring and the button into the round half.

Get a plastic shopping bag and place over this round spring loaded piece so you are holding it taught and without wrinkles, plastic bag/film side up.

Place right angle spigot piece over all this entire thing and snap into position.

Trim excess plastic.

The unit is now fixed. I think this should last a good long time, as the plastic is not biodegradable, as rubber is. If it does not work on first try, do it again.

If you want to use a rubber analog, use a plastic (cheapo non-latex, non-leather) condom as the plastic diaghram, rather than the plastic bag. This will of course require more force to snap the pieces together. (Word tot he wise...Do not try to use condom later, as it will have a big hole in it.)

This fix worked well for me. I hope this works for you guys. Hope to get some feedback too.
