Second that - balance the wheels first

I did axles and a complete front end rebuild last year and still had a vibration at 75 mph. I had the wheels rebalanced and some of it went away, but ultimately I did the inner drivers to solve the problem. I would do the driver bearings just because you are in there anyway and they are easy and cheap.
My advice to anyone is that if its an old but good car and you are going to keep it a long time, do it all - inner/outer joints, both drivers with bearings and O ring seals, ball joints, tie rod ends, sway bar ends, shocks (or at least the shock bushings), control arm bushings and spring mount bushing. I regret not doing the wheel bearings. Its a bitch doing part of it and still having a problem vibration when you know that a few more hours of work would have replaced everything. See Jim at sobstory for the parts and advice.
