so, I hadn't talked to my dad in a couple of weeks and suddenly he sends me an email telling me that the trans went on his 1991 turbo convert on the way home from work. However, what shocked me even more is that he told me that he has already bought a 1999 9-3 SE convertable! I was amazed because he always remarked how much he liked the C900 styling and that he would replace whatever broke on it. Plus I don't think he was too fond of the GM influence. It was certainly a shock to me. But the C900 did serve him well, 244,000 miles on the original tranny (standard of course), and it was a turbo to boot! So anyway, now I guess I have to start reading the 9-3 board as I know absolutley nothing about them. Without trying to start a flame war here, what do the C900'ers think of the 9-3? I know some of you drive both and can offer some comparisions and likes and dislikes between them. I'm still wondering if my dad will be happy with his new purchase. (Just got it on Thursday). I have to admit, I wish I lived on the east coast so I could take if for a test drive. Never driven a 9-3, or any NG900 for that matter.
