Search the board on this topic for more deatiled posts, but it sounds like the three tiny screws that hold the "gearbox" that links the sunroof cables to the motor have backed out of the motor housing. the motor turns, but the cables are not connected so they don't move, so the sunroof does not move.
Look under the plywood floor to the right of your spare tire, up against the rear bumper, you will see the motor, unbolt it from the bodywork. Follow the cables to the aluminum gearbox, find the screws and a rubber disc with holes in it (on the floor of the trunk, probably) that links pins in the motor gear to pins in the gearbox. Put it all back together, use Loctite on the screws. Maybe clean everything up and lube disc with a light grease that will not hurt rubber.
This is a typical/normal SAAB occurance, thankfully its easy to fix.
