Mine was already cracked from previous owner trying to remove it, so be carefull!! I used a wide putty knife, with help from a hammer to get thru the rest of the glue. Tenacious stuff!! Some heat may help to lessen the glues bond (I didn't try it, tho)...maybe a propane torch on the underside??
As posted earlier, take the whole hatch if possible!
