I use & sell koni's & I have found quite the opposite with the ride. I have koni's on my daily/beater 88 SPG with intrax springs as well as 18x7 wheels & the ride is far from rough! My other SPG which I am building up has OEM springs, OEM wheel/tire's as well as boge shocks (all temporarily). My SPG with the koni/intrax/18's actually rides better!!!!!
In regards to price, $370 a set is what I sell them for :o)
You also state you have the SPORT model which according to my catalogue the C900 uses a 30-1088 front & 26-1087 rear both of which are not sport models! I think Ubipa also beleives to have old intrax (group-6) springs & ststes the springs are VERY stiff. Possibly those are causing your very stiff ride????
