That's a thought I had not expected to be sure. The needle does not seem so jitter at all yet when it is full there seems to be a point it stops on the gauge before it hits F. kind of a etched spot on the gauge?! I was hoping someone would say the light first comes on and blinks at the 4 gal mark and then comes on permanent at the 1.8! I may do the best test out there when I hit empty agin and run out on purpose.
