.. pretty timely, last night i received the used ignition switch assembly i bought from a site member ..

6 months ago the key in my 87 900s did a 360 in the ignition then the key came out with the lock cylinder ...

i got the manual - found the pins for power - used wire to hook in a house light switch so i could turn power on - off .. then i found pins for starter -- wired in a door bell so i can kick starter in ... i splurged on the doorbell - got the deluxe model that glows in the dark...

has worked fine .. now i'll take the new lock set and have it keyed to match the doors - trunk and reinstall...

.. the screw driver probably works well too but with all the loose screws i have i didnt have a screwdriver to leave stuck in the ignition slot..
