With due respect, I find it hard to believe anyone would get a 32% improvement in gas mileage by simply going from 87 to 92 octane. If that were the case, the oil companies wouldn't be able to make it fast enough. Of my Saabs, my daily-driver 94 900SE V6 is the only one I track mileage on, and I do so religiously. I run 87 octane normally, but run an occaisional tank of 92 octane to clean out the fuel system. The mileage is the same, regardless. Just my .02 worth!
