My pump was acting funny: when the tank was getting low, occassionally the engine would stumble like it wasn't getting fuel. The other day the pump was noticably louder and I decided to finally change it with a spare.
I've had prblems with the fuel level senders (located a little to the right of the pump in the tank), having the lower aluminum tube break off from the upper mount. Not sure if this means I'm cornering too hard or having too much fun but I found a simple solution. Take out the sender, and put a couple pop-rivets in the top of the sides to ensure that the lower section won't break loose. Hasn't failed since.
