silicone will poison your 02 sensor.
IIRC, this is the brass fitting that is either a service replacement or a later model than my OEM plastic fitting. The service part is glued in with fast set epoxy. Figure 4-5 minutes to set up but still 24 hours or at least overnight on a warm engine (do it with the engine warm, don't start/run the engine to keep it warm!).
