hi all! after extensive hair pulling i realised that when rebuilding the engine of my 85 900t 16v i had stupidly managed to install the cams 180 from correct...i was getting only 25 psi from the cyl's after extensive turning over. i loosened the cam bearing caps so i could rotate the cams until the notches on the cam gears were pointing up. i installed the chain after triple checking that the timing pointer was right at 0 and that the notches were both perpendicular to the head. i admit the chain seemed kinda loose between the gears but i'm not sure i could've moved a link or not...well the engine still doesn't run and my psi on cyl #4 is at about 90 psi. i have done absolutely everything suggested (electrical, ignition, pump, ecu...etc) is it possible i've bent a valve or two? i need this thing on the road...is there anyone in vancouver BC that i could hire for a couple of hours? i'll make sure plenty of beer is available as well...
