Well, that sucks, what I would do is start looking for some fried ground wires, if the + side of the battery hit the body then all that current would prolly flow through all the ground wires in the car, possibly screwing a lot of stuff up including the ECU. Did you see any smoke or smell any burnt plastic? Did this happen for a few seconds or was the battery in contact with the body for a while?
Thats my theory, for your sake i hope im wrong.
