I swung by the body shop at lunch, they weren't done with the estimate yet - still had to price out bumpers and some misc. stuff. At that point they were at $7200. 2 bumpers have to be at least $1k installed and painted, so the car is definitely totalled.

I did have a little fun driving (yup - drives fine, still runs strong) to the body shop. Layin' a little rubber and all - I figured it'd be the last time the car would be driven.

I'll probably go back on Monday to scavenge my Alpine CD unit and Hella fogs, and maybe throw my almost-worn-out snow wheels on to keep the mint 15-spoke OE wheels with almost new (4000 miles ago) tires.

Gonna pedal to work all summer and save my pennies for a WRX this fall. I had planned on moving on late this year anyway.
