I would really like to get a comparison from you! And anyone that has True 1st hand experience with these ONLY! THNX!
You can just email me directly if ya like. Anyway I've noticed from some posts you've been using an Amsoil bypass filter with synthetics for quite some time and also used to run Frantz TP oil filter some years ago.
So heres my dilemna. I have a Preluber I want to install, and I use a block heater to keep engine temps from fluctuating as much, or cooling down completely.
Really want to install a Bypass oil filter too at the same time, but I'm just not completely sold on the amsoil system. And its kinda spendy if replacing the element every other oil change. I have a Brand new Frantz filter but would like maybe a pro's/con's list as to which one I should go with!! I figure if I used the most industrial type TP I can find that should clean as good or better than amsoil one. Curious why you dont use Frantz anymore. Probably doesnt look as nice for 1 eh!!
I guess worst case scenario, I try one do oil analysis, try the other do the same and see which comes out cleaner. I would do them on 2 different SPG's I have but then you have differences in the actual vehicles so that wouldn't be such a good test!!
REALLY APPRECIATE ANY EDUCATED HELP THAT CAN BE GIVEN!!!
