I just replaced my dash about 2 weeks ago. It was my first time and it took me about 4 hrs total to remove the original and the one at the junk yard and re-install it into my car. Things to look out for are the three long underdash bolts, numbered with lines 1 to 3 (left to right from drivers side)...the 3rd one is hidden behind where the center console meets the ash tray. There are two main bolts under the speaker grills...there is some simple wiring behind the glove box (green wire) for the light...oh yeah, be sure and mark all your connecting harnesses to put everything back correctly..,.and the biggy, watch out for the heater selector rod. It is only held in place by the distance between the back of the selector and the recieving connection at the firewall. It's really easy to connect properly if you have the cluster fascia out of the dash at the saem time. Actually, the whole job is easier if you remove this component. I also removed my steering wheel (7/8ths socket I believe) and this saved me a world og grief trying to squeeze the dash in. I also swapped my ugly 87 wheel for the beefy 85 wheel. The whole job cost me 75$ and was the best aesthetic upgrade for the money.
Good luck! I can also help you with any specific problems/questions should they arise...
