Chances are yours are hardened nubs if they're in there at all!
OEM bumpstops are about $60 at the dealer, generally have to be ordered but good news are still available! Maybe you can get then cheaper elsewhere, but shipping eats you up (I checked with sobstory.com and he noted he could get them at a slight discount, maybe 10%, but with shipping it's just as easy to get them from the dealer).
You'll have to compress the front springs and if you don't have the saab tool or a proper A-frame type spring compressor, be very careful with a pair of spring compressors. I used a jackstand under the front lower A-arm with the wheel off to compress the spring using the car's weight as much as possible. THEN I put the spring compressor on and tightened it a couple turns. When the car is lifted up at the jack point (highly recommended to lift ONLY at the jack points) and the suspension extended, you should be able to remove the spring. Take out and replace the bump stop and reassemble in reverse order. That's about it! My 87 900T with 252+K runs a lot smoother now!
