Whether or not PS fluid will work is irrelevant. You can get 4 qts of 10W30 for $4-6 for normal/cheap stuff. If you want to get the best you can, go with some Honda Manual Transmission Fluid (MTF).
You may want do a flush process.
1. Drain the old stuff out
2. Fill with dino 10W30 (NOT synthetic)
3. Run for a few hundred miles (Amount invested $6)
4. (Optional) Repeat steps 1-3 once more, or twice if you feel like it. (Total $12-18)
5. Drain and perform final fill with Honda MTF
6. Run 1-2 years with the MTF, then go back to step 5.
