I was reading in the newspaper where they did a review of a new Saab 9-5. They described the car as using a GM "Sigma" body, that they built Opels on , and a host of domestic named vehicles, like the Cadillac Catera, and Chevy Malibu, among many others. They described the engine as just being another one of GM's small-block 60 degree V6's with a turbo attached to it. The driveline was the all to common horizontally mounted engine driving the front wheels. ( I like the classic 900's vertical mount MUCH better)

Now, I don't really mind GM vehicles, when I need an inexpensive car to play around with for basic transportation, but when I want something to do really enjoy driving, I want a european vehicle that is unique. Especially if it is being sold at a premium price!
