Okay, I know this sounds weird, but I remember them clear as day back when the C900's ruled the Colorado slopes (nothing quite as mean looking as an SPG with a Thule rack loaded with fun stuff rocking up the hill thru a blizzard on I-70, with all the fogs / lights lit up).

Back to point, has anyone seen (recently) the trunk mounted ski rack that fits on the car like Porsche 911's wear them (in other words the ski tails are hanging down towards the rear bumper and the tips more or less are floating just above the top)? Thule stopped making them.

I still remember going up to ski Vail (when tickets were $15), in my mom's old Blazer, and having a 9000 turbo police car rocket past us on I-70! Those were the days!
