Short could be in a few places. First I would check the condition of the wiring just ahead of the driver's door jamb under the hood. The lock circuit uses the 3 wire connector. Unplug this connector and with a meter check the operation of the door switch on the driver's door. One of the three wires is common and the other two should alternate continuity as door lock is opened and locked. If you find a constant ground here, you might have a chafed wire where the wires go into the door or inside the door. Also maybe a bad door switch. Pull door panel off to investigate.

If OK, then with the connector ahead of the door jamb still disconnected, replace fuse and jump alternate wires to common on the other side of the connector. Passenger door and trunk should open and close. If fuse blows, check wiring ahead of passenger door jamb. If OK, uplug the connector infront of passenger door jamb and try a gain with a new fuse. If the fuse still blows, the short is in the trunk circuit.

The controller might be bad(above the passenger side footwell attached to the plastic heat duct) Unscrew the end of the duct and bend it down to get to controller. These do go bad but usually don't blow fuses.

I just realized that your car is a convertible. I think you might have a central locking switch inside the car that may be bad, too. Also, there may be a lock motor in the driver's door that dos not exist on other body styles. Sorry, I'm not experienced with cvt, but I would still follow this procedure.
