...is if the '88 900 has/had passive seatbelts. Then it should bolt right in, though if the '92 seat is electrically controlled the '88 car won't be wired for it. If the '88 SPG has conventional seatbelts from the factory, you will need to find a seat from a '90 or older car, as the bolting pattern to the floor is completely different than the '92 seat.
