hub vs rotor

I'm not trying to be condecending...

The CV length is determined by the relatve distance from the inner driver to the furthest point in the hub. Since the rotor mounts to the hub (and not mount via the axle) the position of the hub doesn't change.

I understand what you are saying, but you have the mounting point incorrect. You are thinking that the thicker rotor will "push" the hub out; it doesn't.

The rotor is thicker, I agree. However it has no revelance to the orientation of the axle.

We are way over analyzing this...
