I got one of the fiber pens in an auto paint dept Posted by RS [Email] ![]() ![]() ![]() In Reply to: Re: What's the number on the plastic cover of your AMM, Mac, Sat, 24 Jan 2004 14:04:25 Members do not see ads below this line. - Help Keep This Site Online - Signup |
It's supposed to be a tool for blending scratches into the rest of the finish before you do the touchup paint. Nice idea, but it didn't work in my ham fists. However, it's a great idea for cleaning up contacts. I've also used Radio Shaft tuner cleaner with good success. It's a bit expensive - ~$9.00 or so.
Looking back at your previous posts, I'd think that, if cleaning up the contacts on the NTC sensor and AMM doesn't work, try cleaning the grounds on the lifting hook (front of engine, behind the AIC valve.)
What's your battery voltage? Some funky running problems can be the result of power at the ECU being somewhere around the low end of what the ECU is designed for. Cleaning up the grounds that I mentioned may help in that respect.
Did you replace the NTC sensor yet?
