I swerved to avoid a deer in my '86 8-valve tonight and went off the road. It was high centered on a steep curb parralel to the direction i was going. A friend's truck dragged it after some serious effort. It made it home but the whole way the wheel was jerking slightly side to side and now even in gear the tires won't move. Im guessing the problem is a cv joint or something like that but it might be the clutch, I was slipping it bigtime trying to get out in the 4 inches of snow. Any thoughts?? Should I look anywhere else besides the clutch and cv's??
Mike
Ps. the jerking would stop if I disengaged the clutch. Please help
