Hope folks can help with a diagnostic shortcut. I've just picked up an awesome '87 900 with an automatic. The car is a peach save for one thing... need to have AT LEAST 3200 rpm in 2nd for it to shift to 3rd.... light throttle, heavy thottle, does not matter. The shift, when in comes, is a wee bit harsh, but not real bad. Same stuff, hot or cold, and the 1-2 shift is nice and crisp. Fluid is correct and at full level and nice and clean, kickdown is smooth and crisp from 3 to 2. What should I be looking at?
