If you are leaving your car in an area which you think it may be gone by when you get back, you can just simply pull the fuel pump fuse. How in a 900, that is a bit involved with opening the hood and such....not too passive to on lookers. However on a 9000, the fuses are in the glovebox...excellent placement for easy, seceret disablement of the car.
