Hi fellow Saabers!
I am going to change the doors on my '87 SPG. (with another '87 SPG, so I don't have to mess with the SPG door kit) The one I'm changing to has the wind deflector and better power windows and working central lock. I think it goes something like this:
1. take off the door trim
2. Disconnect the power lock connector
3. Take off the power window regulator to disconnect the window motor connector (Is there a way to by pass this?)
Then I can un do the hinge bolts, but which ones? 6 bolts on the door or the bolts on the car? Which is easiest to reassemble? Do I have to worry about nuts or washers? These are the questions that I have?
Thanks in advance for your help.
James from Michigan
